Barcelona Brand New Fashion Designers: Modafad 25 Editions

This book portrays the ModaFAD venture, a non-profit association formed by students, proto-designers, self-taught practitioners, stylists, multidisciplinary designers, sponsors and institutions, with a common goal: to launch emerging young Barcelona design talents into the fashion world.

The book records the 25 editions of Modafad, with the inclusion of the most prominent designers which have emerged from each bi-annual event.

Jordi Labanda, Spastor, Josep Abril, Celia Vela, Isaac Reina are some of the big names that started their careers in ModaFAD and contribute to this book with short interviews and insights into their most current collections.

Also featuring Chicks on Speed with the tale of a work in progress workshop they organised at the ModaFAD event and an interview with Diane Pernet.
